Incar Wonderkid Genoa, AC Milan Compete with 6 Clubs
Genoa President Enrico Preziosi expressed interest in AC Milan at Pietro Pellegri. The 16-year-old has scored three goals for Genoa’s senior team. Finally, he scored two goals against Lazio last weekend.
Although the negotiation process did not get the spotlight from the media, Preziosi called AC Milan had chased Pellegri in the final minutes of the closing of the transfer market last summer.
“Milan are interested in the last day of the transfer window, and they have not given up on it yet, they are still interested in it,” Preziosi told Calciomercato.com on Friday (22/09/2017) local time.
However, Proziosi continued, to get the youngest player in Serie A, AC Milan should at least compete with six other clubs who also want it. Proziosi did not mention which club is hunting Pellegri. But, two of which have been revealed are Manchester United and Chelsea.
Milan plans to bid again in the January 2018 transfer window. However, it is unknown how much the price range Genoa will set for his golden boy.
If you reach an agreement, AC Milan will still let Pellegri play in Genoa until next season. It was intended that Marco Pellegrini’s son could play more often for the sake of his game development.
